Christina Mun
Deputy Secretary of Housing Finance
Christina Mun has been appointed Deputy Secretary of Housing Finance at the California California Housing and Homelessness Agency (CHHA).
She brings nearly two decades of experience in housing development, finance, and policy across California and New York.
Before joining CHHA, Christina served as Chief Strategy Officer at LeSar Holdings Inc., where she led cross-sector initiatives in housing and homelessness. She previously directed the City of Oakland’s Housing & Community Development Department as Interim Director, where she co-authored the department’s 2021-2023 Strategic Action Plan and secured critical funding to expand affordable housing.
Earlier in her career, Christina held strategic planning and policy roles at housing agencies in San Francisco and New York City. She also worked in both nonprofit and private sectors to develop housing throughout the Bay Area.
Christina holds a Master of City Planning from UC Berkeley and a B.A. in Urban Studies from UC San Diego.
